C7 Corvette Borla Exhaust Systems
Borla S-Type and ATAK Axle-Back Exhausts for C7 Corvette
Find a Borla axle-back exhaust for your C7 Corvette with the sound and tip finish you want, matched to your car’s transmission and factory valves. This collection includes S-Type and ATAK choices for 2014–2019 Stingray, 2017–2019 Grand Sport and 2015–2019 Z06 applications.
Start with the Corvette, not the tip photograph. Two systems can look similar at the rear and still handle factory valve operation differently. Your model year, trim, transmission, NPP exhaust and AFM valves determine which choices to compare before moving on to sound and appearance.
Match Your C7 Trim and Transmission
- Stingray: Match the individual system to your year, transmission and factory valve configuration.
- Grand Sport: Automatic and manual cars use different applications. The 118-series choices here serve automatic Grand Sports; the 119-series choices serve manual Grand Sports. Always check the complete part number and valve equipment.
- Z06: Use the dedicated Z06 application and its stated valve requirements. A part-family number alone is not enough to choose the system.
Choose the Valve Functions You Want to Keep
NPP controls the dual-mode exhaust sound. AFM exhaust valves serve a separate function, so a system without NPP can still retain AFM valves. The choices here include both valve types, AFM only, NPP only and neither. Match the supplied hardware to the functions you want to retain.
ATAK 11881 and 11869CB remove both AFM and NPP valves. Their inactive actuator mounts do not restore valve operation, and these systems can trigger a check-engine light on AFM-equipped cars. For a valved system, the original electronic actuators transfer to the corresponding Borla valves; new actuator motors are not included.
S-Type or ATAK for Your C7
S-Type is the less aggressive of the two choices, while ATAK delivers greater exhaust presence. Choose the sound you want to live with on your regular drives, then compare the finishes available for the correct application. This C7 collection focuses on S-Type and ATAK rather than Touring.
Tip Finishes and Axle-Back Contents
Available tips include polished stainless and ceramic black, with intercooled and non-intercooled designs depending on the system. The CB suffix means ceramic black, not carbon fiber.
These systems replace the rear exhaust section. The separately sold 60548 X-pipe is not included with the axle-back; adding it creates a cat-back combination for the applicable car, and its installation requires cutting behind the secondary catalytic converters.
