The Z06 badge spans the C5 LS6, C6 LS7 and C7 LT4, so the model name alone is not enough to choose a plug.

      Start with Your Corvette's Engine

      • C5: 1997–2004 LS1 coupe, 1998–2004 LS1 convertible, 1999–2000 LS1 Fixed Roof Coupe and 2001–2004 LS6 Z06. The Laser-series choice changes by year: Laser Platinum through 2003 and Laser Iridium for 2004.
      • C6: 2005–2007 LS2, 2008–2013 LS3, 2010–2013 LS3 Grand Sport, 2006–2013 LS7 Z06, 2013 LS7 427 Convertible and 2009–2013 supercharged LS9 ZR1. Match the engine as well as the generation; these groups do not share every plug option.
      • C7: 2014–2019 LT1 Stingray, 2017–2019 LT1 Grand Sport and 2015–2019 supercharged LT4 Z06.

      Compare the NGK Plug Lines

      • V-Power: Conventional nickel electrodes with a V-groove center electrode.
      • G-Power: A fine-wire platinum center tip, compared with the conventional nickel electrodes in V-Power plugs.
      • Iridium IX: A fine-wire iridium center tip with a conventional ground electrode. Choose the exact part number for your engine; Iridium IX and Laser Iridium are different plug designs.
      • Laser Iridium: An iridium center tip and platinum ground-electrode pad for wear resistance on both firing surfaces.
      • Laser Platinum: A platinum-electrode design for C5 applications through 2003. For a 2004 C5, choose the matching Laser Iridium plug.
      • Ruthenium HX: A ruthenium-based electrode design. Electrode shape varies by part number, so match the plug to your engine.

      For an LS7-powered C6 Z06 or 427 Convertible, compare V-Power, G-Power, Iridium IX and Ruthenium HX. For an LS9-powered C6 ZR1, compare V-Power, G-Power, Iridium IX and Laser Iridium.

      • Match the model year, trim, engine, NGK stock number and full plug number. Similar names such as TR6 and TR6IX identify different designs.
      • Each Corvette set includes eight spark plugs, supplied as two packs of four. Order one set for a complete eight-plug replacement.
