Important Exhaust Notes
This MBRP Active Profile exhaust is built specifically for C8 Corvette Stingray models equipped with the factory active exhaust system. It is not a conversion kit for a Stingray that was manufactured without active exhaust. Confirm that your Corvette has the factory active exhaust option before ordering.
During installation, the two original rear NPP actuators are removed from the factory exhaust and transferred to the functioning valves on the MBRP muffler assemblies. The supplied electronic simulators connect to the wiring previously attached to the forward AFM valves. The rear NPP valves remain electronically controlled through the Corvette’s factory exhaust-control system.
Installation requires removal of the rear wheels, rear fascia, trunk liner, engine cover, and complete factory exhaust system. MBRP specifies that rear-fascia removal requires at least two people. Professional installation or experienced mechanical ability is recommended. After 30–60 miles, recheck exhaust clearances, system security, clamp torque, valve wiring, and tip alignment.
