The AWE 3015-43143 Touring Edition Axle-Back Exhaust brings a more assertive soundtrack and dark exhaust outlets to the 2017–2019 C7 Corvette Grand Sport. Important Exhaust Notes
This Touring system has a fixed, non-valved layout. Its mufflers handle drone acoustically; they do not preserve the factory exhaust's quiet/loud valve settings. AFM simulator hardware serves a different purpose and does not restore sound-mode selection. The rest of your exhaust setup will also affect cabin sound.
Professional fitting is recommended for the finished result. The AWE instructions explain rear-valance access, mounting and wiring, along with the AFM work required on automatic Grand Sports. That procedure retains the original AFM valve motors and uses the included simulator hardware. Finish with tip positioning, clearance checks and a leak inspection before enjoying the upgraded note.
