C7 Corvette 95mm Throttle Body 2014-2019 - advanced FLOW engineering 46-39110

The C7 leaves the factory with an 87mm throttle body feeding a 6.2L V8. The aFe POWER 95mm Throttle Body, part number 46-39110, replaces it with a 95mm bore and ships with the billet adapter plate that mates the larger housing to the factory intake manifold. Both pieces are in one box, which matters on a C7 because the adapter is not a shelf item at most parts counters.

It fits three C7 trims across two different engines. On the 2014-2019 Stingray and 2017-2019 Grand Sport it opens the throat ahead of the naturally aspirated LT1. On the 2015-2019 Z06 it feeds the supercharged LT4. Your factory drive-by-wire connector carries over either way, so no tuning is required.

What to Expect

C7s are now seven to twelve years old, and the ones getting a 95mm throttle body are usually not stock elsewhere. If you are already running an aftermarket intake, this is the next restriction upstream of the manifold. If you are still on the factory airbox, a cold air intake is the larger single change of the two, and this part complements it rather than replacing the need for it.

Set aside an afternoon rather than an hour if the car has never had the manifold area apart. Aluminum threads that have been torqued once since 2014 deserve care. Recheck the four screws at 100 to 200 miles.

Important Notes

• Mounting hardware is not supplied. Your four factory screws come off with the stock throttle body and go back on with this one. Keep them together at the bench.
• Intake manifold gasket is not supplied. aFe notes it may need replacing. On a car of this age, have one on hand before you start rather than mid-job.
• This is a throttle body, not a throttle body spacer. A spacer leaves the 87mm factory bore in place. This replaces the bore. Any spacer you are running comes off when this goes on.
