C6 Corvette Covercraft WeatherShield HD Car Cover (2005-2013)
The Covercraft WeatherShield HD Car Cover gives the 2005–2013 C6 Corvette Base Coupe and Base Convertible a heavier-duty option for demanding outdoor storage. It is a good match for a Corvette regularly exposed to intense sun and changing weather rather than spending most of its time inside. The fabric’s strength is especially useful when the car stays covered outside for longer stretches between drives.
WeatherShield HD combines durable 300-denier fabric with EPIC by Nextec encapsulation, helping repel water while allowing moisture and heat to escape. This cover comes in Gray for either Base body style, with elastic hems and soft felt grommets to help position and secure it around the car.

Benefits
- Durable fabric is designed for prolonged outdoor exposure, including intense sunlight and demanding weather.
- Water-repellent construction sheds rain while remaining breathable rather than creating a waterproof seal.
- UV-resistant treatment helps the fabric withstand strong sunlight during outdoor storage.
- The cover shields the car from dust, dirt, bird droppings, and tree sap between drives.
- Heavier fabric offers greater tear and tensile strength than WeatherShield HP, a useful tradeoff when outdoor durability matters more than minimum storage bulk.
Important Cover Notes
WeatherShield HD is water resistant, not waterproof, and its heavier fabric does not make it a substitute for sheltered parking. In high winds or extended storage, use the supplied rope through the under-car loops even when an optional locking cable is installed. Check for flapping and movement around the vehicle.
Contact CCA before ordering if an added wing or body conversion changes your Corvette’s shape. Install the cover on a clean car and keep it clear of hot exhaust. Do not use it while towing. If freezing weather bonds the cover to ice on the car, do not pull it off. Wash with cold water in a large machine without an agitator and air-dry.
