American Car Craft Laser Mesh Front Grille for C6 Grand Sport, Z06 and ZR1
The American Car Craft 042043 Laser Mesh Front Grille fits the original front grille opening on the 2006–2013 C6 Corvette Z06, 2010–2013 Grand Sport and 2009–2013 ZR1. Its polished T304 stainless-steel construction and hand-formed diamond mesh add a bright focal point to the center of the nose. The grille attaches in front of the stock grille with supplied double-sided adhesive.
This is the large central front grille, not the small hood inlet grille or the narrow grilles in the lower air dam. It is a useful choice when you want to change the look of the main opening while keeping the factory fascia. Confirm the trim and opening before choosing it; a standard C6 Base uses a different front grille.

Benefits
The wide polished surround gives the main grille opening a clear outline, while the diamond pattern adds detail inside it. On a darker car, the silver finish creates contrast; on a brighter color, it can coordinate with other polished exterior accents. For street or show styling, the mesh texture remains visible at close range rather than reading as a flat metal panel.
You can make the center opening the focus of the upgrade or coordinate it with separately purchased trim. The main grille, hood inlet, driving lights and lower air-dam openings are different locations, so select each accessory by its own part number rather than assuming one kit covers the entire nose.
Important Notes
Part 042043 does not fit the standard C6 Base front opening. Grand Sport coverage starts with model year 2010, and ZR1 coverage starts with 2009. The 2006 start year applies to Z06 only. Match those dates to the car’s original trim and confirm that its front fascia has not been converted.
Check the grille against the opening and follow the installation directions before attaching the adhesive. A modified bumper or conversion requires its own fit check. Display-car photos may show additional polished accessories; hood-inlet, driving-light and air-dam grilles are not included with the main front grille.
Compare the installed views for the grille’s full outline and the close-up for its raised diamond texture. The finish sample is a reference for the polished mesh rather than another grille in the package. Part 042043 is the polished stainless version, so select it for a bright metal appearance rather than a blacked-out front opening.
