American Car Craft Laser Mesh Air Dam Grilles for C6 Grand Sport, Z06 and ZR1
The American Car Craft 042045 Laser Mesh Air Dam Grilles add polished stainless-steel detail to the small lower air-dam openings on the 2006–2013 C6 Corvette Z06, 2010–2013 Grand Sport and 2009–2013 ZR1. These are the narrow openings below the main front grille. The diamond-pattern mesh is laser-cut from T304 stainless steel and hand-formed, with supplied double-sided adhesive for installation.
Choose these grilles to carry a polished finish into the lower corners of the front end. The location matters: air-dam grilles are separate from the large center grille, driving-light covers and hood-inlet trim. They dress the existing openings rather than supplying a new splitter, air dam or complete front-fascia assembly.

Benefits
The small grille locations make this a more localized styling change than replacing the look of the entire center opening. Polished mesh creates a silver accent against the dark lower air dam, drawing attention to a detail that can otherwise disappear beneath the bumper. The diamond pattern can also coordinate visually with other polished Laser Mesh accessories.
This is particularly useful when you already have a polished center grille and want the lower openings to follow the same design. For street or show styling, it can also be used as a restrained accent on its own. Match both the finish and the opening location when planning a coordinated front end; not every stainless-steel grille uses the same pattern.
Important Notes
Part 042045 does not fit the standard C6 Base air dam. The Z06, Grand Sport and ZR1 year ranges are listed separately below. Do not assume a Base car becomes compatible because it has wide wheels, badges or other cosmetic changes.
The installed photos show the air-dam grille location but may also show separate center, hood-inlet and driving-light grilles. Those other accessories are not included. The black air dam and vehicle bodywork remain separate from the stainless grille pieces.
The photo with an arrow identifies the lower opening being dressed; the large grille above it is not the item supplied under part 042045. The separate finish sample shows the diamond mesh texture and polished surface, not an additional accessory.
Follow the included directions for surface preparation, positioning and adhesive attachment. Check the shape of any aftermarket air dam or splitter before ordering; fitment for a factory opening does not establish compatibility with a modified panel.
