WeatherShield HD Outdoor Car Cover for the C6 Corvette Z06
The Covercraft WeatherShield HD car cover, part C16678HG, fits the 2006–2013 C6 Corvette Z06 coupe in Gray. Its heavy-duty, 300-denier fabric is designed for a Z06 that spends extended time outside, with protection against strong sun, rain and seasonal exposure.
The fabric has a substantial feel, while an EPIC by Nextec finish helps water shed from the fibers. The breathable weave allows heat and moisture vapor to escape. Custom shaping, two mirror pockets and elastic front and rear hems help position the cover around the parked Corvette.
Product Details
- Construction: 300-denier WeatherShield HD fabric with an EPIC by Nextec encapsulated finish.
- Part and color: C16678HG in Gray.
- Fit features: Custom-cut pattern with two mirror pockets, elastic hems and soft felt grommets.
- Use: Indoor or outdoor protection, with an emphasis on demanding outdoor storage.
- Package: One custom-fit cover; optional zippered tote bag and lock-and-cable kit sold separately.
Benefits
- Durable outdoor fabric: Heavier-denier fibers provide tear resistance for regular outdoor use.
- UV protection: The fabric and protective finish are designed for sustained exposure to strong sunlight.
- Water shedding: The encapsulated fibers help disperse rain without making the cover airtight.
- Breathability: Allows heat and moisture vapor to move through the fabric beneath the cover.
Important Notes
- Storage space: HD has more bulk than WeatherShield HP. Allow room to fold and store the cover when it is off the car.
- Storm precautions: Water-resistant is not waterproof. Remove the cover before high winds or storms; heavy-duty fabric does not make it safe to leave on in those conditions.
- Care: Wash cold with mild powder detergent in a washer without an agitator, rinse thoroughly and air-dry. Do not tumble-dry, bleach or use fabric softener.
- Before covering: Start with a clean, dry Corvette and cooled exhaust areas. Keep grit off the inner fabric.
- Ordering: Allow 7–10 business days before shipment, plus transit time. Check aftermarket wings or body modifications with us before ordering. Remove before driving or towing.
