C6 Corvette Covercraft WeatherShield HP Car Cover (2005–2013)

The Covercraft WeatherShield HP Car Cover is a lightweight indoor/outdoor cover for the 2005–2013 C6 Corvette Base Coupe or Base Convertible. It suits owners who need protection from sun, rain, and airborne dirt but do not want a bulky cover to handle every time the Corvette comes out for a drive.

WeatherShield HP uses a breathable woven fabric with a water-repellent finish that encourages rain to bead and run off. The thin material folds compactly for storage and dries quickly after wet weather. Choose Base Coupe or Base Convertible and one of five solid colors; the cover is custom made for the selected body style.

Product Details

Construction: Lightweight woven material treated with Nextec fiber encapsulation for water repellency and breathability.
Fit: Custom vehicle pattern, elastic front and rear hems, and reinforced non-scratch grommets.
Included: One custom-fit car cover.
Colors: Gray, Taupe, Black, Bright Blue, and Red.
Finish: Fade-resistant automotive-grade dyes; outdoor exposure can still cause fading over time.
Warranty: Covercraft’s 4-year limited warranty.
Production: Custom made; ships in approximately 7–10 business days.
Shipping: Free Shipping in the Continental U.S.

Benefits

Helps shield the Corvette from UV exposure, dust, dirt, bird droppings, and tree sap during outdoor parking.
Rain-shedding material reduces water buildup on the cover without relying on a heavy multilayer construction.
Breathability lets heat, moisture, and condensation escape from underneath the fabric.
Low bulk makes the cover easier to fold and put away between uses, whether the car normally parks indoors or outside.

Important Notes

For prolonged exposure in intense-sun climates, consider Covercraft Sunbrella or WeatherShield HD instead of WeatherShield HP.
WeatherShield HP is water-repellent, not waterproof. It is not a substitute for an enclosed garage.
In high winds or extended storage, secure the cover using its center loops and tie-down rope, even when using an optional lock and cable. Check for loose fabric or flapping.
Install over a clean vehicle and avoid hot exhaust components. Do not use a car cover while towing.
WeatherShield HP can be washed in a suitable large home machine without an agitator, using cold water and mild powder detergent. Follow the supplied care instructions; never use fabric softener. Keep your receipt for warranty service. Fading is not covered by the limited warranty.
Check with your painter before covering a recently repainted finish.
Contact us before ordering if added wings, body conversions, or other exterior modifications change the car’s shape.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Corvettes does this WeatherShield HP car cover fit?

This solid-color cover is for 2005–2013 C6 Corvette Base Coupe and Base Convertible models. Select the correct body style and color. Contact us before ordering if exterior modifications change the car’s shape.

Is a WeatherShield HP Corvette cover waterproof?

No. WeatherShield HP is water-repellent rather than waterproof. It sheds rain while allowing heat and moisture to escape through the breathable fabric.

Is WeatherShield HP suitable for a C6 Corvette parked outdoors?

Yes. WeatherShield HP is designed for indoor and outdoor use, including exposure to sun, rain, dust, dirt, bird droppings, and tree sap. It does not replace an enclosed garage.

Is WeatherShield HP the right Corvette cover for prolonged intense sun?

For prolonged exposure in intense-sun regions such as Arizona or Southern California, Covercraft recommends Sunbrella or WeatherShield HD rather than WeatherShield HP. Match the cover material to your parking climate before ordering.

How should I secure a WeatherShield HP Corvette cover in wind?

Use the center loops and tie-down rope to secure the cover in high winds or during extended storage, even with an optional lock and cable fitted. Check for flapping or loosening.
