C5 Corvette Vararam VR-B2 Ram Air Intake System

C5 Corvette Vararam Cold Air Intake. The Vararam VR-B2 is the only true Cold Air Intake System designed and engineered for the C5 Corvette. Vararam's unique design funnels cold air from the Fog Light Ducts in the front of your C5 Corvette straight up to your intake manifold. The term CAI (Cold Air Intake) is often applied to any aftermarket intakes system, however only Vararam delivers cooler outside air. Cooler air is denser and makes more horsepower. In addition, when your C5 Corvette is moving forward, you get all that cool dense air under RAM Air pressure. Included in your kit are a full set of instructions and everything you will need for installation. VR-B2

The C5 Corvette Vararam Intake is manufactured in Ixonia Wisconsin and has been a staple in the Corvette Intakes since its inception. The Vararam Intake system for the C5 Corvette has evolved several times over the years for added performance and ease of filter maintenance. In the latest evolution,of this record setting system VaraRam has made advancements for both quality and ease of installation. Installation of this intake is a tricky proposition. The front of the air scoops attach behind the fog light openings, which is a very tight fit and a blind install (touch location) as seeing the mounting locations inside the front fascia is very difficult. A lift is recommended for visual assistance but is not necessary. While installation can be a little frustrating due to the tight spaces and limited visibility, it is well worth the effort. The C5 Corvette VaraRam Intake continues to be one of the most effective ways to add Horsepower and Torque to your 5th Generation Corvette.
